The very reluctant boss
Amy Sherwood grew up in the family’s auction house, even standing on a chair so she could hand out catalogs to buyers at the sales of furniture and fine art that are Sherwood Auctions’ bread and butter. When her father’s heart attack puts him out of commission, it makes sense for Amy to step in as the temporary boss – even though she no longer works for the Sherwood auction business.
