After a long career in writing sweet traditional contemporary romances for Harlequin Books and Mills & Boon, I turned to writing spicy historicals. I also write books for writers, and sometimes I write things that don’t fit neatly into a category — like recipe books and photo books about my dollhouse.
The wide variety of subjects has helped to keep me excited and enthusiastic about writing — and I hope it will make you just as excited to read.
Many of my books are available in audio, and a number of the contemporary romances have been published in sets — themed collections of four or five titles — which are available to borrow on Kindle Unlimited. Many individual titles are also available to borrow through Scribd, and they are available for library purchase.
Historical romance — British Regency period, 1810-1820
Accidental historical — An “accidental historical” is a book which was contemporary when it was written, but the passage of time has turned it into a classic period piece (e.g., there are no cell phones, no Uber, no anti-smoking laws….)
Contemporary romance — set in a timeless present
Audio books — listen while you exercise or drive
Book collections — themed collections available to borrow on Kindle Unlimited

Books about writing — creating convincing romance, relationships, characters
Extras — reflecting Leigh’s many interests (miniatures, recipes, the Shakespeare authorship question)
